The Book Of Job

The Book Of Job

I was reading the story of Job to honour John Walter William’s life who sadly passed away on the third of May this year. The pastor at the funeral recommended we read the book of Job as a remembrance of how much Faith John had in his savour Jesus, all through the good and tough times of his life.

Some readers of Job would find it very difficult and challenging to read. It is a real test to our faith and you might find yourself questioning how you would of responded to those circumstances Job endured. People who don’t yet know that Nothing is greater than God, won’t understand why a blameless God fearing man got let down by God and lost everything while still holding onto his faith. It just doesn’t sound fair. While other readers who are firmly grounded in faith would read this in awe of how amazing our God is and really get a grasp on what real faith is and the tests we go through to endure eternal life and the blessings that are to come when we are grounded in Faith and Truth.

For the reader who has not read the book of Job I’ll do a quick summary:
-Job had seven sons and three daughters
-He owned 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, and 500 female donkeys. He also had many servants. He was the richest person in that entire area of Uz.
-God allows Satan to test Job of his Faith. Job is a man that fears God and stays away from evil. Job has great integrity.
-God said to Satan “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically”.
-So it started, Job lost all his animals, his seven servants got killed a house collapses on his children they all died, but Job still worshipped God saying;
“I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the lord (Job 1:21)
-Satan appeared in the Lords presence again and God said to Satan “Job had maintained his integrity, even though you urged me to harm him without cause”. So Satan replied to the Lord, ” skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life. But reach out and take away his health and he surely will curse you to your face!” “All right, do with him as you please,”the Lord said to Satan.”but spare his life.” So Satan struck Job with terrible boils from head to feet. But still Job kept his integrity and said nothing wrong. He said to his wife,”should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?”
-The book of Job then goes on and has a record of discussion amongst Job’s friends, but their words were also a mixture of truth and error. In the end God rebuked them and sent them to ask Job for prayer (Job 42:7-9). God told them,”You have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”
-God spoke to Job through (a whirlwind, 38:1 & 40:6). He began by rebuking Job for speaking in ignorance and reminded him of his mortality (38:3). Then he challenged Job to answer a series of questions centering on the awesome strength and power of God as creator and sustainer of the universe, but Job was speechless, he simply acknowledged his inadequacy and agreed to keep silent before God.
-In the end God restored Job by giving him far more then he had before, including another ten children and incredible wealth (42:12-15).

Reading the book of Job reminded me how important it is we keep our Faith in God. It also reminded me that just because sometimes I go through hard times in life it doesn’t mean it’s because I’ve sinned against God. The book of Job makes me see the bigger picture of life. Life here on earth is a test to see if we can make it through to endure real life on the other side. Heaven is promised to be completely satisfying, no sadness but just a whole heap of happiness. This life is not a competition about who is the richest and has the most possessions. Life is about Who, and Where we come from, and where we will return to after this (test) that we humanly call life, but we fail to recognise this isn’t our life yet our real life is yet to come in heaven.
So if you want to gain real life get yourself right with the creator of all the world, the creator of human kind and live your life here on earth as a faithful loving servant to God and you will be greatly rewarded in Heaven. Eternal Life !!!❤️

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

That’s the truth, that whoever believes in Jesus will not perish but have eternal life. This verse shows me this is not eternal life yet. We are in the before life (test) of getting to eternal life – THE REAL LIFE. #livingthedream 🌈🌠🌍❤️

If God created YOU, and this WORLD. The Animals, Sky and the Ground we walk on how much more wonderful is heaven going to be if our minds can’t even comprehend the majesty that it beholds.

Written in remembrance of John Walter Williams who’s Faith was as strong as Jobs was. Your family and myself know you held the Key of Faith in your hand and walked with the true armour of God strapped to you closely up until the day you departed from earth and ascended up into heaven. Forever you will be remembered and never forgotten until we meet again.

Authority – Spirit Wars, Kris Vallotton

I love this section in chapter 9 from the book Spirit Wars writing by Kris Vallotton. I decided I want to share it with you. It’s great truth and a perfect reminder of the Authority we have because God purchased it back with Jesus dying on the cross after Adam and Eve decided to give their ruling rights to Satan.

When God created the world, He put humans in charge, commanding them to rule “over all the earth” (Genesis 1:26). As I said before, When Adam and Eve sinned, it was not just a matter of disobeying God – they changed masters by obeying the serpent. The earth was no longer “one planet under God, ruled by man.”Instead, Adam and Eve gave their ruling rights to the devil. When Jesus was led into the wilderness to war against Satan, the devil said to him. “I will give you all this domain and it’s glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish” (Luke 4:6, emphasis added). The devil was right; he had deceived Adam and Eve into giving him their authority to rule the world. Because God gave humankind the dominion of the earth, it would take a human to get it back. When Jesus obeyed God by dying on the cross as a man, he wrestled the keys of dominion away from the devil. That is why when He rose from the dead, Jesus said, “all authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations: (Matthew 28:18-19, emphasis added). Jesus restored our original commission to rule the earth. It is important to note that Jesus said He had “All authority.” If Jesus has all authority, that would mean that Satan has none! We are in Christ, therefore we carry his authority into every circumstance, every geographic location and every situation. The only way that Satan has authority is when we gave it to him. That is why he works so hard to get us to empower him through lies, sin or covenant agreements. When believers refuse to listen to the devil, however, he becomes a powerless pawn of God’s divine purposes. I will leave you with this thought from Ephesians 4:27: “Do not give the devil an opportunity.”

Purchase the book its amazing!!!

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share with you the breakthrough you can get from understanding your dreams. Yesterday and today I had a decision I had to make. I had been offered a job at one of my previous jobs I had years ago. A part of me wanted the job role because I liked the hair retail industry. But another half of me felt like it wasn’t going to be good for me. I don’t want to go into detail as to why but I got a bad vibe but I kept trying to brush off that vibe I was getting because I liked the idea of getting back into retail in the hair industry instead of selling phone and tablet accessories.

I asked for some peoples advice, and they all said well they cant tell me what to do but by what I’ve mentioned to them they didn’t think it was best idea. I woke up in the morning and was thinking about the pros and cons of taking the job, and then I decided to pray and I texted my grandma about it for some advice from her. As I was praying I remembered my dreams from last night. One dream I had was I was driving my car and nearly drove on the wrong side of the road and then the road started curving up and I was trying to speed up so my car wouldn’t just stop and fall down from gravity. And then after that dream I remember driving along a road around where my nana use to live, I remember my dad being in the car with me and a family member Eddie we saw in the car next to us and he was looking back because he recognised us,I turned down into a street and all off a sudden I saw 4 Tigers which was really unusual and as I kept driving I saw Hyenas and then I saw this image of a sheep’s face staring at me. It wasn’t like I saw sheep in a paddock, it was like I was in the car having an open vision of a sheep’s face looking at me.

As I remembered that strange dream I thought well I wouldn’t of made up a dream like that on my own it had to be from God so what does it mean?

The first dream is pretty explanatory for me. There is two roads to go on, Obviously I nearly took the wrong side of the road and it was a one way road. And then the road I was on curved up and all fear came out of me and I didn’t feel like I had control over the car.

The second dream was extremely strange so I had to open up my trusty dream book THE DIVINITY CODE by Adam F. Thompson and Adrian Beale.

I searched Tiger and it said (1) Strong evil force; (2) Satan; (3) Vicious religious spirit. (1)Mic. 3:1-3; (2)Mark 1:13; (3)Mic. 3;1-3.

Hyena: (1) Warning of an attack upon a spiritual sleeper; (2) Call to stay awake spiritually. (1-2) Isa. 52:1a; Luke 22:45-46.

Sheep: (1) Believers; (2) Christ; (3) Sinners (lost or astray); (4) Shepherdless (scattered sheep); (5) Church (flock of sheep). (1) Matt. 10:16; 25:32; Luke 15:4-7; John 10:3-4, 7, 14; John 21:16-17; 1 Pet.5:2-3; (2) Acts 8:32; (3) Isa. 53:6; (4) Matt. 9:36; (5) Acts 20:28; 1 Pet. 5:2.

Edward: (1) Affluent (rich) Protector

So if you look at Tiger and Hyena they are very much the same they are both about being Attacked and a call to stay awake and aware of the enemy’s scheming ways. The Sheep’s face reminded me I am not shepherdless, don’t become a lost sheep. Matthew 9:36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

The name Edward being Protector well I see that as Gods my Protector listen to what God is saying, Listen to what the Holly spirit is saying, awaken spiritual sleeper and don’t become a stray and be lead into what the enemy’s plans are.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

I now know those dreams were from God, and I feel at peace with my decision. I am not taking that job on and I know I made the right decision. If it wasn’t for those dreams I had and if it wasn’t for me listening, praying and reading into my dreams I may of made the wrong decision and ended up in a bad place.

So this was just to encourage you to listen to your dreams and start praying into them and asking for discernment from God to understand your dreams. I also recommend purchasing the Divinity Code book it can be really helpful.

Through out my day I remembered another dream God gave me. It was very encouraging and I was able to encourage someone else through that dream too. Sometimes God will show you things for you to share to other people and help prophecy to them what God has in store for them.

Thanks for reading,

God Bless,

Amy 🙂

Repositioning Yourself

I have a friend that’s not wanting to have anything to do with me now because I’m getting too involved in church and Christianity. He believes in God and is Christian but doesn’t like to attend church because he got hurt by people in church years ago.

He met his ex at church who he dated for years and she cheated on him and then she spread rumors that made him look like the bad guy, so his heart was crushed and his reputation got burnt.

I’ve been hurt by people in church plenty of times but it hasn’t turned me away, because it’s not about the people. I don’t go to church for the people, I go to worship god and fill myself with the word of god and I experience joy and wisdom from it.

I’ve gained friends in church and I’ve also been fooled by some people in the church and mislead by them. No human on this earth is going to be as amazing as Jesus is! And no church is perfect, the people make up the church, yes! because without the people it wouldn’t be a place where people gather to all worship God together. And not all humans measure up the same we are all broken pieces of a puzzle coming together and trying to fit in somewhere. We know we fit into the picture but where will you position yourself within the picture.

With a puzzle piece they are all individually shaped and sized and not all pieces join together. We need to focus on Jesus to complete our puzzle (Gods will for our lives) we need to position ourselves. If someone hurts me in the church what do I do? Run away ad not come back? No I make a slight move to the right and stay away from that person that’s not treating me with love and turn my focus back onto God to complete the picture. Life is a  trial not every step we take is going to be the right step, not every turn I make will be the right turn. The focus is on Jesus and God! Leaving the church is what the enemy is wanting you to do. He can even use people within the church to turn you away.

God hasn’t hidden anything from us! He has left us with a guide to life, The Holy Bible! He has given us all the tools we need, he told us what kind of people to be, how to treat others, how to be like Jesus! nothing is hidden, he gave us everything we need to complete the life he has for us here on earth. Just like when you buy a puzzle in a box all the pieces are there to complete the picture. It’s up to you where to position them in the right place to create the picture.

The enemy loves to kill, steal and destroy. He wants to take those puzzle pieces away and tear away at your life and the picture God lay out for you. You may be thinking why is it taking so long to complete the picture or the life God has for you? Maybe the enemy is deceiving you and making you position yourself in the wrong place, maybe he is distracting you, confusing you, misguiding you and you haven’t even realized it! If your not where you want to be, and you feel like the picture is so far away from being complete and your off track, you need to dig deeper into the word of God, the promises of God and be in communion with God in Prayer and be trusting God. Most of the times you can sense when your making a bad decision so follow that guide line of sensing by the spirit, like my last post I made and if you do that things will start to make more sense, and fall into place and you wont have to work so hard at tying to figure it all out, the answer will be right in front of you and you’ll know where to position yourself to see Gods will come into your life a lot quicker.

I’m not great at doing this, it takes practice and persistence. And that’s probably why I’m inspired to write about this very thing. I need to not let this friend of mine tear me away from God no matter how much I want to remain friends with him. The enemy will use who your most closest to, to distract you and take you away from God because he knows you’ll keep coming back to the drawing board where he has a chance to tempt you and confuse you. I’ve been good friends with this person for a long time but I keep going through so much drama with him so I have come to realize that’s who the enemy will be using to confuse me because I keep coming back, because I value our friendship even though a lot of the times I even wonder why I would be attracted to this person! But something keeps drawing me back and forth and I’m really getting over it now! I really want to remain friends with this person but is he being a loving friend to me by trying to turn me away from God? NO! So why should I let the enemy feed away on that.

Sometimes you cant help people, no matter how hard you try! its not your problem to deal with. You can pray for that person and hope God does something in their lives. But God is always available and these people just have to learn to go to God. So for him to see change requires him to make a move and turn to God! It’s between him and God! I’ve wasted too much time being hurt by his circumstances and being distracted by him. Why should I be so worried about him when I have my own picture to complete, who knows when your time is up here on this earth, you don’t know when your going to die. But I’d much rather get to heaven knowing I’ve made God happy and completed the picture he gave me. He only desires good for us, so don’t choose anything less it’s not what God has in store for you! Sometimes things will come our way, things that aren’t from God! But God doesn’t let you deal with it alone, just you remember that.

Sensing by the Spirit

On my way to work today the most random memory popped into my mind. I was like how the hell did that come into my mind? Well I had no other explanation but it must be from God.

I remembered a dream I once had when I was younger, not sure what age but I think somewhere between 5 and 7, haha I guess that makes me 6 but it was around that age bracket. I was trying to remember if it was a dream or real life because it half felt real. I then remembered that I dreamed of a house that was near where we use to live. In reality I found the outside of the house nice and was strangely intrigued by what the inside of the house would look like.

Here is a picture example of the outside of the house and they also had a black catblack-catbudda-garden576ebf40c75ac51ca0eec513d8d7c53b

Who would agree that looking at these pictures gives you a mysterious feeling stirring inside you?

As a young child it made me really interested in discovering more. It was like a different world hearing the wind chimes in the wind, seeing this black cat looking at me with yellow eyes and being captivated by the colors of the flowers and arts and crafts and ornaments around her garden. It felt like I was in a fairy garden similar to what it looks like in Children’s story books. I was trying to think up of some ideas of how I could get into her house. Like trying to sell the lady cookies or knocking on her door and asking where the cat is -Haha that sounds hilarious, I know! but honestly I was a kid; what can you expect.

One night I had a dream I sneaked into her house while she was out and I got the worst feeling from it I was really frightened. I wanted to get out as soon as possible and I remember being stuck in the house for what I recall 3 days and not being able to get out. When I got out of the dream and entered into reality I didn’t want to go anywhere near that house.

The inside of the house looked something like this:

The reason God gave me that dream is because there was witchcraft happening in that house. He was warning me to not go inside the house.

We need to start becoming aware of tricks that draw us into danger. You were giving the holy Spirit to help you with direction in this life. I suggest using it, its the best compass you can get, Its your best friend that never leaves your side. Having discernment is the number 1 thing I became aware off when I became a Christian, why? Because I was aware of the Holy Spirit inside me, and when I became aware of the Holy Spirit I learnt how to feel and hear what the Holy Spirit is speaking to me. The discernment came from the Holy Spirit, where as on my own strength and only hearing my human minds thoughts no discernment was surfacing and I was acting out of seeing things and not feeling thing.

If I saw the outside of that house today and never had that dream and I was still not a Christian, I guarantee I’d still be captivated by the looks and sound of the wind chimes, and still be interested in exploring more. Now that I am aware of the Holy Spirit within me and I can sense a bad spirit when its around I wont have to fall into a bad trap that’s demonic. It doesn’t mean I wont be demonically attacked but It means I wont be fooled into following the ways of the wicked.

Always ask the Holy Spirit for help and pray. Don’t rely on your own strength God is greater. Ask for his opinion on things and I’m sure you’ll get the right answer….was going to end this post until I remembered an example of me asking the Holy Spirit a question and most definitely got my answer, So I have to share this… When I very first started attending church I was driving somewhere and I had a dream catcher hanging from my rear view mirror and it fell off and I went to put it back on but then I thought I wonder if that’s a sign that a Christian shouldn’t have a dream catcher because I’ve heard some have curses attached to them. As I thought that I saw all these white feathers floating around my car and they were only around my car and I looked to see if maybe a truck went passed with birds but no sign of one. It was really weird and it was only around my car the feathers were white as snow. I straight away knew it was a sign and never put the dream catcher up again I replaced it with a cross necklace.

Hope this helps you next time your intrigued by visually seeing things, and you start to use the holy Spirit to guide you and protect you by asking the Holy Spirit questions instead of relying on just sight.

Something can look good on the outside- but doesn’t mean its good on the inside.

Praise for God’s deliverance- 2 Samuel 22

I had this bible verse God keeps speaking to me the past two days. So I’m obeying God by writing it out for myself and whoever God leads to this post.

2 samuel 222 Samuel 22, Then David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, on the day when the lord had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said: ”The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My savior, You saved me from violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.

“When the waves of death surrounded me, The floods of ungodliness made me afraid. The sorrows of Sheol surrounded me; The snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called upon the lord, and cried out to my God; He heard my voice from his temple, And my cry entered his ears. “Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken, because he was angry. Smoke went up from his nostrils, And devouring fire from his mouth; Coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down with darkness under his feet. He rode upon a cherub, and flew; And he was seen upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness canopies around him, Dark waters and thick clouds of the skies. From the brightness before him Coals of fire were kindled.

“The lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered his voice. He sent out arrows and scattered them; Lightning bolts, and he vanquished them. Then the channels of the sea were seen, The foundations of the world were uncovered, At the rebuke of the Lord, At the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

“He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. He also brought me out into broad place; He delivered me because he delighted in me.

“The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands he has recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the Lord, And have not wickedly departed from my God. For all his judgments were before me; And as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. I was also blameless before him, and I kept myself from my iniquity.  Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in his eyes.

“With the merciful you will show yourself merciful; With a blameless man you will show yourself blameless; With the pure you will show yourself pure; And with the devious you will show yourself shrewd. You will save the humble people; But your eyes are on the haughty, that you may bring them down.

“For you are my lamp, O Lord; The Lord shall enlighten my darkness, For by you I can run against a troop: By my God I can leap over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in him.

“For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? God is my strength and power, And he makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on high places. He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

“You have also given me the shield of your salvation; Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me; So my feet did not slip.

“I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them; Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed. And I have destroyed them and wounded them, So that they could not rise; They have fallen under my feet. For you have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose against me. You have also given me the necks of my enemies, So that I destroyed those who hated me. They looked, but there was none to save; Even to the Lord, but he did not answer them. Then I beat them as fine as the dust of the earth; I trod them like dirt in the streets, And I spread them out.

“You have also delivered me from the strivings of my people; You have kept me as the head of the nations. A people I have not known shall serve me. The foreigners submit to me; As soon as they hear, they obey me. The foreigners fade away, and come frightened from their hideouts.

“The lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let God be exalted, The Rock of my salvation! It is God who avengers me, And subdues the peoples under me; He delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man. Therefore I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the gentiles, And sing praises to your name.

“He is the tower of salvation to his king, And shows mercy to his anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore.”

In Sales your first impression is the most important part of the sale because that’s when the customer decides if they like you enough to trust you partaking in their investment. On average it takes only 7 seconds for us to judge someone on their appearance, Speech and Stature. Unfortunately our emotions affect our appearance. I know for myself if I’m upset at work I end up having a shocking sales day, Why? Because I’m carrying my emotions to work with me and still holding onto them and guess what, the worst part about that is you start to affect the people around you and the longer you carry that hurt and sad emotion around with you the longer and harder it will be to shake it off and return to your normal self.

Ephesians 4:26 says this, and “don’t sin by letting anger control you,” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry.

What this verse says to me is, if I let the sun go down and I go to sleep still angry I’m probably most likely not going to suddenly forget about what upset me last night, It is still being carried over to the next day.

But what can I do to get rid of that anger?

Well its more simple then you think, The answer is GIVE IT TO GOD. Nothing is too BIG or too small for God to handle. You pray to God, you give it all to him and thank him for taking your burdens and heavy weight off your shoulders and you start to just TRUST God with it, no matter what the circumstances are. You flick the switch of Faith and you focus on bigger and better things.

Is getting angry and thinking about stuff that bugs us going to fix anything? No it is time-wasting, its tormenting and it also gives a foot hold to the devil. FOCUS on GODS LOVE, 1 Corinthians 13:13 and now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.  If you focus your mind and soul on God- Which is love you will get through this obstacle and your day and everyone else’s will be declared good!

*What prompted me to write this? I was upset last night and I was about to go to sleep still feeling upset but I knew I’d wake up feeling just as bad and I didn’t want it to affect my sales day at work. So I prayed and gave it to God. I was able to sleep peacefully and I woke up in the morning feeling better but the problem was still there, so I prayed again and just declared today WILL BE a good day. I decided to act as if I was happy and like nothing was bugging me, I turned on Worship music in the car and kept pushing into Gods Heavenly realm and to my surprise it worked I had lovely customers and I had good sales. I was shocked that within the first few seconds the customers I had treated me like I was a friend or a family member. I don’t get that a lot but today I realized I got that response because I first gave it to them. So fake it till you make it if you have to even when your not feeling it. * And on a side note I found myself randomly laughing and actually felt a bit drunk even though I wasn’t drinking, I did have a red bull energy drink but I don’t believe it was from that because I found myself constantly laughing at nothing! And that’s what doing life with God is like. That’s why you see people laughing at church for no particular reason because God wants us to be happy and when we partner with him and what the holy spirit wants to do through us we will start to see breakthrough and joy even in the midst of a storm.

Hope that encouraged you,

God bless xo
